So psyched about this gold linen duster I found last week at Zara. They have it in a cream color as well, run don't walk!!
As I was talking to my lovely mom about all the ways I was going to wear it (one, of course being a white t-shirt and jeans, shocking I know), she said "that's too dressy to wear with a t-shirt and jeans." That was followed by this comment from my all knowing sister: "Mom, she always wears dressy things with jeans and t-shirts, that's her thing." So there you have it folks, it's now my thing.
But seriously, if you love something in your closet but are worried it's "too dressy" to wear to casual occasions, try dressing it down! The occasion shouldn't limit your freedom to wear the pieces you love!
